A career law enforcement officer, Mark draws upon his background to engage listeners into every episode. As the host of APB Cold Case, his experiences as both a detective and as Chief of Police bring the audience an inside perspective as we explore unsolved crimes from across the nation.
Chief Spawn has written extensively for law enforcement publications, including as an editor, author and publisher. He is a graduate of the prestigious FBI National Academy, and is a member of the International Association of Chiefs of Police. He has served as a law enforcement trainer, including the production of video and audio presentations for first responders. In addition to being a certified fire investigator he also served as a State Fire Instructor and assisted in the development and delivery of specialized sex offender management training for law enforcement.
