APB Cold Case is a true crime audio podcast featuring unsolved missing persons and murder cases from across the country. 

Each episode takes you inside the case, with interviews from detectives, victim’s families, and others to provide our listeners with a comprehensive perspective of the investigation. 

Hosted by former Police Chief Mark Spawn, APB Cold Case shines a new light on unsolved crimes that have spanned years without resolution. By working with law enforcement and victims we bring renewed attention to these cases to generate new leads – and perhaps, that one piece of information will crack the case! 

  A career law enforcement officer, Mark draws upon his background to immerse into every episode. As the host of APB Cold Case, his experiences as both a detective and as Chief of Police bring listeners an inside perspective as he explores unsolved crimes and missing persons cases.

Chief Spawn has written extensively for law enforcement publications, including as an editor, author and publisher. He is a graduate of the prestigious FBI National Academy, and is a member of the International Association of Chiefs of Police. He has served as a detective and law enforcement trainer, including the production of video and audio presentations for first responders. In addition to being a certified fire investigator he also served as a State Fire Instructor and participated in the development and delivery of specialized sex offender management training for law enforcement.

A Production Executive in Hollywood for more than 30 years, Jeanna Spawn brings a wealth of “from the ground up” experience in managing television productions for NBC, BET, Discovery Channel, History Channel, TLC, Spike, SyFy, YouTube Red, and others. 

Jeanna has worked on a variety of television, film and digital media productions with many years of experience in law enforcement and true crime programming. Professional affiliations have included the Producer’s Guild of America, The Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, Women in Film, International Association of Chiefs of Police, and Society of Professional Journalists. 

She is also experienced in the case review of civil litigation relating to all aspects of production including standards and practices in the television industry and production management. Jeanna is the President of The Spawn Group, LLC, a media production company based in southern California.
